I am Tanguro, but I am also Alessandra Galardi. I was born in Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, arts, and crafts. In this city, steeped in beauty and tradition, I have breathed in a love for handmade creations since I was a child. My mother and grandmother crafted clothes and hats with patience and dedication, passing on to me a love for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the pursuit of harmony. As I grew up, this passion became a part of me: I nurtured it in the small things, until it eventually took shape as Tanguro. My bags are born from this blend of memory and creativity: not mere fashion accessories, but expressions of visual delight, where diverse materials\u2014velvets, linens, raffia, and wool threads\u2014come together in unexpected combinations. Tanguro is the echo of an eternal d\u00e9j\u00e0-vu, a nod to the vibrant, vivid colors that inspire my creations. I raised my daughter in a world where imagination and color reigned supreme. I remember having fun designing bright, colorful sweaters and dresses for her, which then came to life through my mother\u2019s skilled hands. From those moments, my inspiration was born: the desire to create pieces that radiate wonder and originality, evoking joyful thoughts. My ideas are born from the little treasures at home: from the objects that filled my mother\u2019s and grandmothers\u2019 wardrobes, from fabrics of a thousand colors, from shiny buttons, and from the warm voices that wrapped around my memories. Images full of affection and nostalgia, which magically resurface and transform into handmade creations, one by one, unique and alive. I draw inspiration from memories and explosive colors, bright and bold shades.
